Conservative Forum of Silicon Valley meeting - September 7

Join the Conservative Forum of Silicon Valley for their next meeting on September 7 where the topic will be an expose on "how public employee unions are raiding treasuries all over the country". The guest speaker will be Steve Greenhut, author of "Plunder - How Public Employee Unions are Raiding Treasuries, Controlling Our Lives and Bankrupting the Nation. Doors open at 6:15pm, the meeting starts at 7pm. The Conservative Forum meeting will be held at Portuguese Hall, 432 Stierlin Road in Mountain View, California.

9/11 Rememberance in Lafayette

The Lafayette Flag Brigade is having it's 9th Annual 9/11 Rememberance and Patriotic Rally at the El Curtola Bridge in Lafayette from 3-8pm on Saturday, September 11. Along with local organizations and a candlelight vigil at dusk, a 9/11 NYFD survivor will be the guest speaker and The Blue Star Moms will be collecting needed items for our troops.
